Horse racing is still huge in Sweden. My dad was showing me a video from Sweden a couple of months ago when I was visiting. I knew about 1/3 of the words they were saying.

I don't really follow horse racing, I understand it less than automotive racing
and this is coming from someone who owns a horse

never really cared for horse racing , and no , there's no PETA/animal cruelty agenda here . I just believe it's not racing if there's not a motor involved .

i'm not going to play a semantics game . you know what i'm talking about . EDIT: don't get me wrong , not trying to be an ass here , I just can't get into animal racing . the mechanical part of racing is a big part of the appeal to me , that's all .

I used to go to the Far hills Steeple Chase every year. It was great, you sit in the in field for 6 hours and get completely shitfaced and occasionally a horse goes by.

They do have races for really young horses. It usually fucks them up mentally later in life
